Dutch Countryside Bike Tour
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Oosterdokskade 63A to hop on our bikes and start pedaling into the countryside. First, we'll take a ferry across the IJ Canal to the Noord district, where you’ll learn about the dikes and locks that protect Amsterdam from flooding. We'll also ride past iconic windmills along the way.
Curious about the polders of the Dutch countryside? As we cycle through this green landscape, you'll see plenty of them, along with friendly cows and goats up close!
Next, we’ll take a quick break at one of Amsterdam’s best ice cream shops, where you can indulge in some delicious, unique flavors.
With our sweet cravings satisfied, we’ll head back, passing through the bohemian neighborhood of Nieuwendammerdijk, known for its charming streets, beautiful houses, and lush gardens.
We’ll return to our starting point, wrapping up the tour about three hours after we begin.
